Thriving in Tradition and Excellence
St. John Christian Heritage Academy was founded by Rev. Dr. W. K. Jackson, the late Pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. His vision became a reality on August 28, 1989, when the school opened its doors for the first time, and offered instruction to students in kindergarten through the third grade. Currently, the Academy is a privately accredited institution, providing academic and biblical instruction to pre-kindergarten students through fifth grade. The school is operated under the leadership of its , Principal Ms. Penny Emery, the Board of Directors and Dr. M. L. Jemison, Senior Pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

Motto
A Talk With The Lord
What surprise do YOU have planned for me today LORD?
I am excited about the abilities that I have at my disposal.
I am able to see, and think, and hear!
I am able to read and to learn. I have the ability to plan.
I am excited about the hours and minutes that this day holds.
I am suddenly conscious heavenly Father , that YOU give to all human beings the same number of minutes and hours in every day.
I will cherish those minutes and hours and I will do good things with them today.
And I am well aware of the fact that the most important resources I
possess are YOUR love for me, the love of my parents, and the
love of my teachers.
I am blessed! I am alive!
I am being given the priceless gift of another day of learning.
I will do good things with this day.
I will do something constructive with this new day.
Thank you LORD for treating me fairly.
I will treat you fairly also.
Today I will be a student YOU can be proud of.

School Song
At St. John Christian Academy,
We have a creed,
To live by every day,
To nurture all our needs.

We stand tall,
We think tall,
We live tall,
And we remember Thee.

At St. John Christian Academy,
I can accomplish anything,
Because I believe in God,
And I believe in me.

At St. John Christian Academy,
I can accomplish anything,
Because I believe in God,
And I believe in me.
We Stand Tall. Think Tall. Live Tall.
